Grains of white massaged my back as I stared up to the full yet empty sky. Specs and a bright light flashed acrossed it, illustrating the unique shapes of clouds as it changed every second that I breathed. My bestfriend snored, a faint conversation from the people afar, and the waves was all I could hear. The sea breeze was cold as it was supposed to be –4 in the morning, I couldn’t sleep, I was in a daze, thoughts drifting like water.
My heart danced to the sound of the waves and to the groove the clouds made. The stars moved downward into the empty space, hiding behind the next vague island. Now the moon gleamed more light, I realized I’ve been lying here for an hour –realized that everything else was moving, shifting, and changing, just like I am.
